Maitrise Hotel Edgware Road - London, London

The hotel has a convenient location right next to the Edgware Road station and within walking distance of my event venue. The rooms were spacious and very clean, offering great comfort. The staff, especially Rebbekah and Benito, were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, there were some undesirable individuals around the area. The dining experience was average with a varied continental breakfast, and the facilities were top-notch.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in London and had a bit of a mixed experience. The rooms were small without windows, but had everything necessary, though it was uncomfortably warm at 28°C with no air conditioning and exposed wires in the bathroom. The location, however, near Paddington station, was very convenient for getting around the city.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from Edgware underground, making it super convenient. However, the room I stayed in, Room 002, was a bit disappointing - small, dirty, and right by the main road which meant it could get noisy from passing sirens and traffic.

The hotel is conveniently located near Marylebone station, offering easy access to public transport and a short walk to Oxford Street shopping. The rooms, though small and lacking windows for natural light and airflow, were acceptable. However, the noise levels were disruptive for a good night's sleep. The service was a mix of friendliness from the staff with some issues like unaddressed emails and unannounced room entries. The dining experience, limited to continental breakfast, fell short in quality with room-temperature items. Despite the noise and room concerns, the location and ease of transport connections were definite highlights.
